I believe that at least once in a person’s life a true unwavering sadness needs to be felt.
An unprecedented void and revelation of loss that opens the mind and leaves breathless the soul.
A silent, wordless cry within wrapped around memory and passions that were and never again will be.
If this sadness is experienced in its entirety, pain and emptiness become mere harmonies to solemn acceptance. Weightlessness over comes the depression.
Memories become the starry night. The darkness made beautiful by eternal glimmers too far away to touch yet too vibrant to ignore. Your lost love is there in the sky forever, it will never go away. Time will pass, new galaxies will ignite.
You will never lose those beautiful, painful old stars and you never should. Someday your time will come to an end and you will be glad to breathe your last breath under the vibrant night that was your life.
I fear that if we hide from these stars the love that gave meaning to our hurt will have been for nothing. I believe that at least once a true sadness needs to be felt.
